The light around you is also within you, moving, weaving and holding it all together. The stitched lines weave across the layers of fluid paint in deep colors, adding a subtle tactility to the painting. The thread is strong, but the intricate lines appear fragile. This one looks like almost like an abstract landscape painting, which was unintentional, but I do love the way forms in nature emulate each other— a painting inspired by a tiny variegated leaf can look like a vast landscape or even celestial space.
